Not the best look for it outside, but inside it is very good. It does seem like a lot of plastic though. Good looking plastic like in Volkswagens but plastic none the less.

most of it looks ok, the interior is great but it always was. i don't like the way the grille suddenly sweeps back at the top though, in the sedan picture it makes it look like a very bad photoshop.

keeping all these corporate clones in line is really confusing in terms of redesigns. i know that opel and vauxhall have pretty much always shared product lines with simple rebadging.
this pic of the 07 holden commodore on another thread clearly shows a strong lineage with the saturn aura concept.

so whats the deal? are they finally being further differentiated among brands?
if this is a vauxhall and vauxhalls are rebadged opels, and saturn is said to be receiving essential opels in the future, then why doesnt this new vectra look more like the aura.
sorry if this sounds confusing, maybe someone can clear it all up

The reason is because the Saturns ARE NOT rebadge opels. They were designed by the same people, hence a similar look, but are not the same vehicles. And that pic you posted above is just a bad chop of the aura.

Woww, this new vectra looks mad on vauxhall version because of new look V on vectra's grille. I'm very sure holden will get facelfit version here and it will sell much better than current version for sure.

I don't like it. I'd prefer the current model with the facelifted version's interior.
The headlights just ruin it for me. Tries to hard to be a BMW/Citroen wrap-around headlight. The rear, from what I can see, does not look good. The rear lights are horrid.
The current version's headlight and rear look much better.

Its definiantly sick especially the stationwagon. How will the rear lights look on the wagon??? It looks longer from the front. Does that give a clue to more interior space???

looks pretty darn weird up front... I am not sure if this kind of customer is interested in Astra front, but it does grab the attention....

i think this would look better if the headlights weren't so darn huge. it still looks ok though, and the vectra is a good car; i'd buy one

It looks better than the current one, but its still a bit strange. Somehow, it now looks as if it was trying to hard to please people.
Why aren't there any pics of the 5 door/GTS version? will that get a different front treatment to the rest of the range, like it did on the very beginning?

The two ends just don't seem to sit together comfortably, looking more like they belong to two entirely different cars.

Why can't the Cobalt get such a pretty dashboard? And that navigation system?

WOW, looks really good!!!
I think the Caravan/Estate looks more aggressive than the sedan! Let's see if Volkswagen will compete with the Passat...

Building on the considerable early success of the new Astra VXR, the 252bhp Vectra VXR arrives in November, tipped for a price tag of around 24,000.
Sporting the same 2.8 V6 Turbo engine used in the new Saab 9-3, but boosted by five bhp, the VXR develops 258lb ft of torque and will reach 60mph from standstill in 6.6s before heading on to a top speed of 161mph. A naturally-aspirated version of this V6 will go into the facelifted Vectra this autumn, producing around 220bhp.
Just like the Astra, the strong VXR styling instantly marks the car out above the standard repmobile Vectra, with large front spoiler and air intake, big wheels and striking large exhaust, although the Vectra gets two trapezoid-shaped pipes instead of the Astra VXRs one.
A Vectra VXR Estate follows next March, which should become the fastest load-lugger on sale, presuming the as-yet unconfirmed top speed beats the limited 155mph of a host of prestige German hardware including the BMW 330i Touring, Audi S4 Avant and Mercedes-Benz C55AMG.
The Vectra is the second spoke in the mainstream evolution of the VXR branding, which first appeared on the now discontinued VX220 and Monaro and has been expanded with the 237bhp Astra VXR. Next up is the Zafira VXR, running the same 2.0-litre turbo as the Astra, while hot versions of the next Corsa, and even the Meriva mini-MPV are also planned, although there wont be a VXR version of the Vectras executive sibling Signum.

Source: Autocar

The Opel/Vauxhall OPC/VXR will be based on the newly released facelift version of the Vectra, so the pics you show here are old designs.Check the AutoBild website or the Autoweek.nl site for the actual OPC blue pix

Guys, do we have to have so many posts on ALL the different versions of the Vectra?I mean "2006 Opel/Vauxhall Vectra",",2005 Opel Vectra" and so on...?It is EXACTLY the same car with different badges! What next, a "2006 Holden Vectra" post?
ps:even though the Vectra is supposed to resemble the Astra(headlamps) i still dont like the facelift much- reminds me of a current gen Mitsubishi Lancer

For the next holden vectra, there will be no new versions after current ones which means no more vectra here!!!!
The replacement of Holden Vectra will be daewoo's new median size sedan by next year. This car will sell in most countries including america as suzuki etc.
