It looks and feels like a really expensive suit, I bet to drive a car like this is an occassion...or more importantly feels like one!

Can you imagine how much of a player you'd feel like driving this? The suit analogy is right: You put a nice suit on, you feel like a million bucks. You drive one of these, you're out $300k but you feel like $10 million! Very nice. I'm sure J-Lo has two on order by now.

Is this any different from the concept?

it will be a little different from the concept, one thing will be added.. a Safety rail like on any other cabrio.. It will be on sale next year, and they decided to put it into production only after a great interest around potential buyers..
This will be a direct rival for Rolls-Royce 100EX(Phantom Cabrio) which will be launch only in 2007. Looks like Bentley won the fight.
Engine will be a V8 6.75 with 450bhp from the Arnage R.
an interior picture

Maybe they should call it "Dropjaw Coupe"!

Or maybe the dropdead coupe.... as in drop dead gorgeous! Saw the concept at the L.A. auto show, and I was floored.
And that interior is an environmentalist's nightmare. There's a friggin' forest's worth of wood in there! I love it.

That's a good one too DoMiNo.
Does anyone else beside me notice that this is a Convertible? not a coupe?
I guess they thought "if you can call a 4-door car a coupe why not call a vert a coupe as well".
back in the days of bugatti (really old bugatti) like pre-war era (or maybe post war...dunno :P ) they used to call them drophead coupes instead of convertibles, though I think it was like a status thing or something...but man is that interior gorgeous...i've never had my jaw drop for anything until just now...it is truly an amazing sight....

the reason they call it drophead, because nobody wants to call a car that costs more than $300.000 a Convertible...

I would have thought they would do a 'convertable' Continental GT? Considering its much newer...

The windshield on the 100EX is interesting cuz the triangle-shaped pillars. That shape should make it a lot stronger than just one pillar alone which is what most other verts have.
I believe Hofmeister maybe had the same thing in mind for the c-pillar on BMW's, but with a much smaller triangle.
