I think this is really more of an access to the VW name than a direct competitor to the triplets.

Hmm I like the front side of the car, it looks ok. But the back looks quite (too?) high and short. I am not sure if they will sell it here in Finland. Hmm they didn't sell Lupo either in Finland.

The front bumper is different from what we have here in Brazil. Wonder if the interior is different, because the brazilian Fox has a realy bad one...

well, since whipster was saying he wasn't getting excited, and spwolf started talking about triplets, my mind took a detour down a darker, less traveled road. Thanks for showing me the way back to the main street.

its like a mini golf plus - i kinda like it, but it does look like its about to tip over in those pics. i agree, though, that it is a bit overpriced in light of the competition.

After seeing the new Jetta here, I was thinking what will VW do with the front of the Fox and Golf? Are they actually planning on facelifted these 2 cars? Golf is doable since the GTi has a similar grill as the jetta and passat, and new polo now as well. I mean, I can see the new grill on this car, but will VW do it? Why not facelift the car before introduction? Kind of stupid if you ask me. Still prefer the older Lupo.

This is the interior of the Fox sold here in Brazil. The euro one will probably be different, with a conventional glove box.

I like it- reminds me of the Colt. I think it should have been a compact sedan, something new for VW. However, VW is quite overpriced, Panda's a way better deal.

I think pricing it @ AUD15,540 (Or somewhere under 16k AUD) for the most basic VW Fox wouldn't a good idea, it might be a little too close to the Polo Match's AUD16,990 pricetag.
Maybe AUD14,990 will make an ideal starting price for the Fox down under.

It's too bad that VW can't build this in China and send it to the USA as a low cost entry level offering. It would have all the mileage a person would need without the stupidity of having to wait for months for a "green" hybrid.

This new update looks great!! With the new generation Polo more than likely moving up in price slightly when released in Australia, this would make the perfect entry level car for Volkswagen Australia and it's already engineered for RHD markets like the UK, so there could be a chance.

Not likely the price is to close to Polo and VW don't make money on Brazilian exports outside South America hence current Fox in UK is last one.

We're most likely to get the up! aka Lupo family of something from India/South Africa.
