Thank God we Americans get Ford sedans like the Five Hundred and the Fusion. Exciting cars like the Falcon should be stamped out and made mediocre. Why should the Aussies have any fun? Seriously though, I have to wonder why it's ok for the Aussies to have a road burner and we have to deal with the half-hearted or no-hearted efforts of Ford USA. Bring this here as the new Lincoln LS or as a Mercury. That way Mercury would not just be regrilled Fords. If GM can raid Oz for the GTO and a new Buick, why can't Ford share the wealth?

I read in one forum before about some rumor that GM is more confident in Holden being worldclass(global player), so cars like their Monaro are sold in Europe and USA(GTO)... while Ford on the other hand doesn't look up to their Australian division... they didn't even design the Falcon to have a LHD version... <br>True or false? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/nixweiss.gif" BORDER="0">

True AM2, but rumors have it the next Falcon will be designed to fit LHD if needed.<p>All the Enforcer and Devil R are are special editions, with chrome like wheels, leather with logos, and a logo on the bonnet buldge.

The Falcon would be an awesome cop car IMO... As the Panther platform is obsolete, Ford could easily use the Falcon's RWD platform...

Oh bolita, but it is a cop car! Well, it is in Australia anyway.

As a friend of mine once told me, after I mentioned that I think Jeff Lang is a true guitar god, "Australia is nothing but the U.S., improved... just that you blokes don't know it"<p>Now, as an illustration of that, how many of us on this side of the Pacific even know who Jeff Lang is?

well, I dont know who Jeff Lang is...but you can't say guitar gods without having joe satriani or steve vai preceding it...among some others...I've been to australia...spent 2 weeks travelling it...it's ok...but you have to pay for your ketchup which is lame...oh yea...and we visited this dump called Aussie World...what a rediculous tourist trap that was...I wouldn't go as far as saying Australia is better, though the air is much cleaner...though ours would be also if our population was that of L.A. alone on the entire continent...I'll just stick with Caifornia..I dont think it gets any better...

Stuff that Canberra is the best place on the planet! Full of politicians, public servants and.......hold on no its not........Anyway if Ford Australia did export any car to the US it would have been the Territory, but the US has made their own version.
