Exactly, few difference such as steering wheel on inside and front end on the outside.
I might perfer C1 because it looks much better for small car. I'm not looking forward for new toyota small car at all.

I like the air vents. They look like mini speakers. The Peugeot looks pretty good. It seems like a cheap, fun car. I think the C1 is nicer looking, though. Both are miles ahead of the Uggo. I mean Aygo. PSA has used the detailing(headlights, tailights, badges) to create two innovative, pleasant cars. The way that the rear doors are integrated is especially pleasing. The Toyota version seems a little bland to me in comparison. That may be why they are using loud paint schemes and silly gimmicks to try to get some attention. I believe that Peugeot/Citroen will sell all they can make.

Isn't it too cheaply made...
even the late FIAT Cinquecento looked better made, more equipped than those....
..they must be less that 7000 euro otherwise they go into more interresting car territory...

According to autojournal , petrol is new 3-cylinder engine, and Hdi is 4-cylinder.
http://www.autojournal.fr/aj/a...8B01F

Maybe Peugeot have realised the 107 doesn't look too good, because according to 4CAR, Peugeot are giving more equipment than Toyota as standard on the base-level model. There's no word as yet on what level of spec the C1 will have.

Well, the 107 is on the streets - in France at least. I saw one the other day in Paris, and it actually looks much bigger than it really is. The smile does look goofy but the overall shape is very nice. Also, I think the big grin goes a long way towards that impression of size. It was a dark blue color and the paint was pretty stuning. I still prefer the smart forfour, but I think the Pug could find quite a few homes with people who don't want something quite that flashy.

This is an completly new factory so they are probably ramping up the production.
They introduced them to the press this month so they are quite few doing test drives around the europe now.
First reviews (Aygo) have been absolutly positive. Nice engine, gearboxs, fairly big inside, small boot, excellent built quality, best materials in class, best driving skills in the class (and classes above) and low price.
Only thing Germans complained about is Aygo not having an ESP system, I found that HILLARIOUS as Aygo (german one) has 6 airbags STANDARD, abs w/ebd, etc, by far exceedes standards of the class which usually have cheapest models with 1 or no airbags at all.
English press loved it all (3 different mags called it top of the charts).

Hold onto your wallets people. This car, alongside the Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo is getting completely refreshed for 2009. All three will be longer and taller than the outgoing models.

I configured my Citroen C1 on the Citroen UK site and it came to around 12,000 or $24,000. My Peugeot 107 (using online configure) came around 10,500 or $21,000. I wanted 4 speakers, not 2, front fog lamps, front centre armrest, manual sunroof, parking sensors (front and rear) and alloys wheels. Very pricy for a "budget" car. Talk about under equipped. I'd take the Hyundai i10 any day of the week since its much better value.

I prefer this to the Citroen C1 facelift. Are they indicators in the bumpers or DRL LED strips that aren't turned on? Thinking about it, Peugeots in general are looking better now as they are getting rid of the ugly betty mouth grille.

Yeah, that's a huge improvement. I think my favorite might still be the Aygo, but this is better than the unfortunate C1 facelift.

Agreed. The 107 is my favourite out the Aygo and the C1 in terms of how successful the facelift was. It really looks nice in purple and I would also have the 5-door.

The 107 looks pretty smart. The C1 sadly looks like Miss Piggy and the Toyota is still a Toyota, so yawn.
