I liked the old rear lights better... The Clk really is doing well, they kept it almost unchanged.
According to AMS, there are new engines too:
Clk 280, with 231hp ( this looks new... )
Clk 350, 272hp
Clk 220 cdi, 150hp
Clk 320 cdi, 224hp
http://www.auto-motor-sport-on...al_ha

It's following the CLS rear lights! I wonder if the E-class facelift rear lights would become this too.

That front bumper looks a bit messy, with the parking sensors in that extra bumper there...

I thought MB was going to move away from the big open mouth in the bumper, like they did with the C class bumper... I guess not.

I think the new back lights look better. And the front looks more agressive.

When I looked at the first pic it screamed CL to me. In addition, the rear lights lack any distinctiveness now. Overall, it's actually not as nice as the previous pre-facelift.

I have never liked the overall shape of the CLK, and the facelift could not change anything in my opinion. Anyway, front is nice, looks fresher now, but the new rear lights look awfull, not sporty, even old fashioned. No improvement at the back, more a step backwards

Never liked current design of CLK either, but I love the old masculine one. Can't wait for my lease to be up so I can get one of those or a BMW 850.

It's amazing how this car has kept up in the market. I honestly thought it wasn't going to be as a good seller as the old one. This new one has no stance and is a mock up of all the MB's on the road IMO.

MB wouldn't take a 5-6 year-old deigned tailght and put it in a brand new model.

I look at this car and I couldn't help remembering a saying we have back home which says something like "You don't change a wining team".
The car looks great, it does well in the market, why to change it? a very slight refresh is enough.
See for example the 7-Series, a clear example of the oposite, it as been clearly doing bad, thats why the "refresh" is so clear.
The SL facelift will be kind of the same, bumpers, lights and equipment, enough in a car doing well.
Regards

I think its dumb how car manufactures show the parking sensors in the bumpers. I mean, they can do it so it doesnt show...its untidy
Im still not a fan of the CLK...its just too Mercish and boring, and the tail lamps do nothing for this car at all compaired to tha last set!
