This has been in Auto Express this week, and is also here

Anyone have news on the exterior, I'm not expecting big changes, but maybe new lights etc.
Anybody got anything on this?

They've changed the color options for the bumpers. That's it.

I read in auto-motor-und-sport.de that Ford changed the frontbumper like they did with the 'Ka Student'. This is a low priced base-model (about 7.900) which is already on sale.
Here are some more Details, found at http://www.feordeurope.net
New standard features
Ka grows up in 2005 thanks to an entirely new wiring system which brings large car features to the Ford supermini for the first time. The features are standard on all Ka Luxury and Sportka models:
- Variable intermittent front windscreen wipe for different intensities of rainfall. Continued
- Delayed final action wipe - clears the screen of any drips once the front wipers have been used and switched off.
- Reverse-gear rear wipe - activates automatically if reverse gear is selected when the front wipers are in use.
- Theatre style dimming interior courtesy light - the light gradually dims rather than switches off once the door is closed.
- Flashing lock indicators the indicator lights on the car flash when remote locking is engaged.
- Auto-relock - the locks re-engage if the vehicle has been unlocked but not opened for a period of time.
Ka Collection will now be available with a new six-spoke design alloy wheel as a 400 option and Sportka will have tinted rear side windows. The familiar moulded bumpers are available in a choice of new colours, Torque Grey or Steel.
An enhanced dashboard means the addition of a new three-litre glovebox on the passenger side. This is a direct response to feedback from Ka drivers who wanted a traditional glovebox instead of the cylindrical box that came with the original styling.
The range of new standard features and options for Ka buyers are available now.
Source: Ford Media Site
Date: February 9, 2005
what is this thing...weird looking exterior, terrrible finish interior, every other subcompact car I can think of looks ten times better than this (I am trying not to bash this car but I couldn't help it, look at it yourself). No offense to Europe, I am so glad this thing isn't sold here in the US, and it should never ever be...I need a moment here

I had always thought that the Fiesta was the replacement for the Ka...but obviously not.

this is even smaller than a most of the subcompact cars, and It was ahead of its time when it came out in nineties. Styling was very original and it still is (it was designed in the time when Ford had courage to be original)
I think this is still one of the most popular small cars in Europe and because its based on old Fiesta it has doog driving dynamics too
To Top secret: Fiesta replaced Fiesta, Ka is totally different car and I think there is new Ka coming in few years.
To Jro4566: The interior isnt bad, its cute and its meant to be cute, because its designed to the women.

I wonder why Europe does not implement the Ka's "butt lift" (only the rear was changed ) in Brazil

Ford Brazil
