you're right, they didn't change too much, but look for yourself.
Here's the 'old' version:

The darker lights do make it look meaner but Im not so sure about the new bumper. I need to see some more pics.

Looks as good as ever. I assume America won't get the clear lense tails again? If so thats a good thing, they don't look that good even on this car,

If you pay close attention, the new bumper is less crisp (softer edges), and the lower intake is different. Nevertheless, I am happy this car still looks beautiful after a facelift, unlike most cars after a facelift!

Fugly bumper re-design? The wheels combined with the new bumper make it look less edgy, less modern. Give me da old one.

Details like the lights may look exciting, overall i find the design of this car still dull. Why has this car been revised so soon?

Oh, you have to look at the older Mazda cars like 626 for example. That's what I call dull. As for 6 it is of the better looking sedans in its class.
And restyling after 3 years of production is nowadays common thing among japanese carmakers. Didn't you know that?

It is not much of an upgrade. On the outside, it looks like the front bumper and front grille were updated. On the inside, I think only the instrument panel got a update. However, these are EDM/JDM updates. I wonder is USDM would be same or something different.

The cars made by Mazda are much better looking than they used to be.. They got a Italian style in my opinion, which is not a bad thing.. I like the Lexus lights, which are both available here in Holland.. Lucky Us...

While these changes appear to be minimal at best I hope most of the improvements were reserved for the interior. Will these changes make it in U.S. market versions. The seat fabric in the Mazda is horrid esspecially in beige. As most of you know I am on my second 6S and like my 05 model more than the 03 one that was destroyed in an auto accident. The dark color of the "new 6" doesn't show the changes to the bumper very well. I will waite for more pics. Ilike the new wheel design on the five door. The wheels on the wagon are available now through Mazda's accessory catalog.

I guess most people don't either, or don't like them that much because I've never seen any with them on it. Which is fine by me because I pesonally think they make the car look boring, especially on the silver or white ones.

The last page names all the accessories available for the car with a picture of a 6s fully-accessorized.

I wanted to get the PhatNoise system on my car when I bought it in December. Unfortunantly my dealer didn't have any price info on it, or even a part #. They were going to find out for me but never called me back

Don't like the chrome surround on the lower air intakes. :( It's like bling for the sake of bling - like when VW "updated" the Jetta with all the chrome.

I love how manufacturers will do a facelift that is so slight that the results are not readily apparent. If you're going to do a facelift do it so people will notice. I wish Detroit would get back to the days when they renewed the sheet metal every other year. This redesign of the Mazda 6 is so slight that I have to wonder why Mazda spent the millions to do it?

well said...facelift doesnt' meant the same thing anymore...then and now
many of the cars, like the 6, doesn't need a facelift, it probably would have been a lot better it everything remained unchanged, it's not like the 6 is a bad seller or anything, 6 will go off the lot regardless of whether there is a facelift or not
