In addition to the new 3.8, Hyundai also offers two add'l engines: 3.5L V6 & 4.5 V8 <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/beigesmilewinkgrin.gif" BORDER="0">

Wow, an $83,000 Hyundai. But it looks as if it deserves it, very nice, much farther evolved than the $8,300 Accent hehe.

The Equus is an older mitsu platform with old mitsu engines (3.5 & 4.5). Thank goodness it will be replaced in the near future. Though it does offer an amazing amount of features it is outclassed in this current market.

46 - 86 million for a Hyundai!!!! LOL, joke.<br>I think it looks hideous as well, i but i supose it will sell well to the government executives.<p>It looks ancient.

The Equus will definitely need better styling if it is to be an anchor car for Hyundai's luxury division. If it is front wheel drive, that's not the end of the world. BUT rear wheel drive is going to be necessary if Hyundai is serious about diving into the Lexus market. Hyundai showed a large sedan show car a few years back that was quite different and rather attractive.
