Now I can see what my cousin was trying to describe to be about the rear light design. I didn't believe him at first, but he did see it, so I guess he is right now. lol

I like the front, but the taillights make it look bad.
P.S Did they get rid of the low tailgate opening on the back for 06?

Wish they'd left the rear lights alone and stuck with the round foglamps, but the new interior looks MUCH better!
Maybe they'll sell more than a dozen of these for once? (I hope they strengthened the frame to support the MASSIVE incentives they'll be piling on these babies)

As no one has posted a press release, I'll just say it. The big difference is that this SUV now offers a 292 hp 4.6 liter V8 as its' top engine, as well as a 6 speed automatic across the board.

6 sp for the 4.0L as well?

Sorry, I mistyped. The 4.0 L will use a 5 speed auto, but is also 'improved'.

Why are car companies going with this clear back lights thing? They dont look good on everything

I agree with you Charger, I am not a fan of the tail lights. The interior does look pretty nice though, except the steering wheel reminds me of the one in the Ridgeline

i hate the new taillights and i prefer the old car's front end, but the interior is an improvement on the (already decent) current interior. it looks like the next sport trac's interior is being used for the mountaineer and explorer, good job
also, looking at jblair's post, i'm glad they put a 292 hp engine in there...now it gan give the trailblazer/envoy a run for its money performance-wise

the back is too white

02-09-2005, 06:06 PM
They wanted to give it some extra bling.

Bling? How are clear tail lamps bling? They are what pimply 18 year old wannabe thugs in ball caps of US sports teams that they can't even tell me the city name let alone a single player for, hoods, and white trainers stick in their second hand 206's.
