That looks really cool. That orange and grey color scheme is awesome and so are those side pipes.

What is this?! Top Gear.co.uk has a section called "Garbage", this belongs in there. Hands down. Yes yes perhaps I am being too harsh, but a spoiler on a huge truck is equivalent of putting a spoiler on a Chevy Cavalier or Dodge Stratus which is something I've seen 16 year olds do.

It's nearly parallel to the surface below it, but maybe I have to look at it from a better angle.
This is probably meant to be a Ford F-150 Harley Davidson competitor.
Most of it is just looks, but the Hemi provides plenty of oomph.

I'm not a huge fan of Dodge trucks but I like the direction they are going in with all these sporty pickups.

paint job looks nice but its still a truck and the wing in this day of age looks like something a young kid would put on his ride. Back in the 60-70's it would have been cool but with the way kids put wings on everything from a geo metro to a bmw its played out.
Dodge needs to scrap its plans for the 4 door Charger, go back to the design board, make a 2 door Charger to compete with the new Mustang then come out with a model with the wing on it then it will get my thumbs up.

I can't believe Dodge is going to replace the RumbleBee with this. It's not that the "design" is THAT bad, it's just not very impressive either.
I'd definitely take a new F-150 Harley-Davidson over this!

I like it as a single cab better

source: dodgeboy

White trash rejoice!
No, but seriously this does look like something off of "Pimp My Ride" and that's no compliment.

It looks just like any other Dodge Ram to me. It wouldn't be too bad if it didn't have that absolutely ugly wing on it.

And the fact that Dodge is pissing away all its credibility, as well as amazing opportunities for future muscle cars. Are they letting the Germans name the cars now, too?

Oh what a cool car that could have made

Huh? This is a very stupid truck. Main audience: REDNECKS. Where did the idea come from? Pimp My Ride? The dude in the idea room huffing crack?
Here's an idea: drop any truck that tries to bridge the gap between the regular Ram and the Ram SRT-10. It's a pimple on an otherwise great line up of cars.

That wing is way, way, way too small for anything called Daytona. The wing should be higher than the roof...

Ah, the paint scheme is awesome, but I personally don't like it. As for the wing, high-performance Aussie utes have it as well (Commodore, Falcon) and those look a lot better than this!
Anyway, an Extra Cab would be perfect for this car!
is this on sale, ive seen many rams with a similar paint scheme in weird colors without the daytona written on them. A dealership had a purple, blue, green, yellow ,orange next to each other

Way to be idiots Dodge. I could deal with a Charger sedan, but the Charger RT was taking it too far, and this, this is just a disgrace. Dodge has a great heritage, why do they waste it on something like this?

How do you justify the Silverado SS?

It's that they took a classic moniker and tried to throw it on a run of the mill Ram with a really gaudy paint job.
The SS name itself, while tied to Chevy's past, isn't necessarily restricted to those old musclecars... they've been using that all along. Plus they didn't put a cheap wannabe musclecar look on the SS, which is a plus and I take the truck a little more seriously because of it.
